Dr. Farrell graduated in 1993 from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. She Served a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She practiced Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in New York until she moved to Arizona. She has practiced in Arizona since 1998 and is a partner in Scottsdale Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in addition to serving as medical director for The Center For Total Back Care. Dr. Farrell is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Academy of Pain Management. She serves as President of the Arizona Society for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Vice-president elect of the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is a clinical instructor and has lectured at numerous medical schools and conferences on physical medicine and pain management. She has a special interest in pain management, neurological testing and holistic therapies including acupuncture, cold laser and osteopathic manipulation.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Farrell has published a paper on intractable hiccup. She is involved in many charitable endeavors including, Special Olympics sports physicals, United Way and Volunteers for Israel. She has also volunteered on the sidelines for the New York City Marathon and Maccabi Games.
